#ProHogs in the NFL – Week 9 Report

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Here is a look at how the 15 former Arkansas football players active on NFL rosters fared this past weekend in Week 9 of the NFL season.

BEST OF WEEK 9

Kamren Curl, S, Washington Football Team

Curl played the best game of his rookie season, making a career-best 11 tackles with his first pro sack in Washington’s 23-20 setback to the New York Giants. Playing a season-high 82 snaps, he also set a career mark with six solo stops. He wrapped up Giants QB Daniel Jones on 3rd & 6 for a seven-yard loss, forcing a punt. Curl has played in every game for Washington and totaled 28 tackles, ranking third among safeties selected in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Hunter Henry, TE, Los Angeles Chargers

For the second consecutive week, Henry hauled in exactly four catches for 33 yards as the Los Angeles Chargers fell to Las Vegas, 31-26. His longest reception of the day went for 11 yards on 3rd and 4 in the first quarter, helping the Chargers piece together a 13-play, 81-yard touchdown drive.

Frank Ragnow, OL, Detroit Lions

Ragnow started his eighth consecutive game for Detroit, but the Lions suffered their second loss in a row to division rival Chicago, 34-20. He has played every snap for the Lions this year, and his 78.0 PFF offensive grade ranks second among all NFL centers.

Randy Ramsey, LB, Green Bay Packers

Ramsey played a pivotal role on special teams, recording his first career tackle, in Green Bay’s 34-17 triumph on Thursday Night Football over San Francisco. He made three special teams tackles, including two on kickoff coverage and one on punt coverage.

Watts totaled four tackles, including a half-sack, teaming up with LB Eric Wilson to bring down Lions QB Matt Stafford for a four-yard loss. He earned an 80.1 PFF defensive game grade, the third-highest on the Vikings, and the 18th highest among all interior linemen in Week 9.

Deatrich Wise Jr., DL, New England Patriots

Wise made a pivotal sack in New England’s come from behind 30-27 victory over the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. He dropped Jets QB Joe Flacco for a loss of five yards on 2nd & 2 late in the fourth quarter, which eventually forced a punt, leading to the Patriots walk-off game-winning field goal. Wise Jr.’s four solo tackles were a season-high while his six total tackles tied his season-high set in Week 6 against Denver.
