Arkansas to Hold National Girls and Women in Sports Day Clinic

FAYETTEVILLE – Join the University of Arkansas women’s student-athletes in our celebration of National Girls and Women’s in Sports Day on Sunday, Jan. 29, prior to the women’s basketball game. The clinic will run from 2-3 p.m. in the Basketball Performance Center located across the street from Bud Walton Arena.

Student-athletes from several teams will be conducting mini clinics prior to tipoff of Arkansas women’s basketball hosting Ole Miss at 4 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena. The event is free and open to all girls between the ages of 5-12. Attendance is limited to the first 150 participants.

Important details regarding the clinic:

  • Check in from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at the Basketball Performance Center, which is located directly across from the main entrance of Bud Walton Arena
  • All children 12 and under get in free to the women’s basketball game with purchase of an adult ticket
  • No equipment is need by participants, however, comfortable athletic attire and sneakers are required
  • Participants will be put in teams for the event based on age
  • Free parking is available in lot 56 located off MLK and Razorback Road
  • The clear bag policy is in effect for this event and the game

The women’s basketball game following the clinic is also holding Superhero Day, in which all kids are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero.
