Rankings Check
The Razorbacks maintained their No. 20 ranking after last week’s big score on the road. The Gymbacks are propelled by two top-15 events, as they come in at No. 10 on the floor and No. 15 on vault. Sophomore Sophia Carter’s consistency on the floor allowed her to keep her top-10 ranking on the floor, coming in at No. 9 with an RQS of 9.930. Arkansas’ full slate of individual rankings can be found at Road To Nationals.

Last Time In Barnhill
The Gymbacks will recognize a pair of senior gymnasts Saturday night in Sydney McGlone and Makenzie Anderson. McGlone has been a regular competitor since joining the team in 2016. She missed most of 2018 with an elbow injury, but has returned strong this season. Earning a 9.800 or higher in 17-of-20 routines. Anderson competed for the Gymbacks in 2016 and 2017, but missed last season with an injury and medically retired from the sport just prior to the start of the 2019 campaign.

Putting It All Together
The Razorbacks had a stellar meet on the road last week, scoring a 197.000 at Elevate The Stage in Birmingham, Ala. The score was good for Arkansas’ highest regular season road score in program history as the Razorbacks placed third in the meet, being just edged out by Georgia and Minnesota.

Looking Ahead
With Saturday marking the end of the 2019 regular season, the Razorbacks will turn their attention to postseason action as they head to New Orleans for the Southeastern Conference Championship. Arkansas placed fifth at last season’s championship, with 10 gymnasts earning All-SEC honors as the Razorbacks took first in the early session at the meet.
