 FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas plays its second-to-last road game of the 2018-19 season when the Razorbacks travel to Lexington, Ky., to face the fourth-ranked Kentucky Wildcats. Tip-off is set for 8 pm (CT)/9 pm (ET) and the game will be telecast on the SEC Network.

This will be the 43rd meeting between Arkansas and Kentucky. The Wildcats own a 31-11 advantage in the series, including a 27-11 advantage since Arkansas joined the SEC for the 1991-92 season.

Since the 2011-12 season, Mike Anderson’s first as head coach at Arkansas, Kentucky and Arkansas rank 1-3, respectively among SEC schools in total wins and the Wildcats and Razorbacks rank 1-4, in league wins. The two schools also rank among the NCAA top nine in home wins over the span. Kentucky leads the nation with 13 home win since the start of the 2011-12 season and Arkansas is ninth with 120.

NOTES

  • Daniel Gafford is coming off his ninth double-double of the season, scoring 23 points and grabbing 13 rebounds versus Texas A&M. His 13 boards are his second-best career effort. He now leads the SEC in rebounding, and he is the only player to rank among the league’s top five – much less top 10 – in field goal percentage (1st, .663); rebounding (1st, 8.9); blocked shots (4th, 2.0); scoring 5th, 16.6); offensive rebounds (1st, 2.9) and defensive rebounds (2nd, 6.1).
  • Isaiah Joe hit two 3-pointers versus Texas A&M to remain the SEC leader in 3’s made with 93 while moving to fifth (tied) on the school’s single-season list. Joe also leads the team with 23 taken this season and with 40 steals.
  • Arkansas will return home to host Ole Miss on Saturday (noon tip-off). During the game, Arkansas will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 1994 NCAA National Championship.
