Daddy-Daughter Date Night Coming to Barnhill

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – As part of Friday night’s fan promotions against Mississippi State, the University of Arkansas volleyball team will host Daddy-Daughter Date Night at Barnhill Arena. First serve of the SEC matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will mark the first meeting of the season between the Razorbacks and Bulldogs. Individual tickets are $5 for adults while children 17 years and younger receive free admission.

Dads and their daughters can enjoy a pre-match meal before cheering on the Razorbacks. After the match, the court will be cleared for a daddy-daughter dance with DJ Derrick.

Arkansas enters the weekend having won four of six matches on its home floor this season. In its third season under head coach Jason Watson, the team carries a 7-9 overall record and a 1-5 mark in SEC play.

Including Friday’s match, the Razorbacks have seven home dates remaining on their schedule with additional contests including against South Carolina (Oct. 17), Georgia (Nov. 9) and Tennessee (Nov. 18). All UA students—with valid ID—also receive free admission to home matches.
