WHAT’S AT STAKE?

Arkansas, along with Georgia and Ole Miss, are all currently 0-2 in conference play; with wins this weekend, the Razorbacks can potentially even their SEC record to 2-2 and earn their first victory against a ranked opponent this season.

ARKANSAS QUICK KICKS

• Arkansas and Georgia last met in the 2014 SEC Tournament. The Razorback tied the Bulldogs 1-1 after double-overtime, but were edged out 4-3 in PKs.

• Despite leading Georgia in several offensive and defensive statistical categories for the year, the Razorbacks can’t afford to overlook the ‘Dawgs when historically, Arkansas is 1-4-2 when playing Georgia on their home pitch.  Their task doesn’t get any easier against Kentucky; Arkansas is 1-8-1 when facing off against the Wildcats in Lexington, Ky.

• Cameron Carter’s 25th win on Sept. 13 placed her third overall in program history in that category. She only needs two more saves to vault into second place.

• Home support for the Razorbacks remain strong; through six home matches, Arkansas is averaging an attendance of 1,281 fans at Razorback Field, the fifth best average in the SEC.

WHAT ABOUT THE OPPONENTS?

• The Bulldogs have only scored one multi-goal game this season, a 4-3 loss to LSU on Sept. 17.

• With its 4.75 save average per game, Georgia ranks second in that category in the SEC topped only by Vanderbilt.

• Kentucky is tied for the most shutouts thus far in the season with seven.

• Wildcats freshman keeper Katelyn Jensen recorded her seventh shutout of the season in a win over Alabama, tying the freshman record for shutouts in a freshman season (Taylor Braun, 2014).

UP NEXT

The Razorback return home to face the No. 17-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks on Oct. 2, and Ole Miss a week later on Oct. 9. Both matches have 7 p.m. kickoffs.
