Hogs Think Pink for Komen Breast Cancer Awareness

FAYETTEVILLE — Think Pink on Thursday night as Arkansas hosts Georgia in Southeastern Conference women’s basketball at 7 p.m.

The Arkansas Lady Razorback basketball team is joining with the Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association and with the Komen Race for the Cure Foundation to raise awareness and funds to battle breast cancer with Thursday night’s game.

Special Hogs Think Pink tee-shirts are on sale now and at Walton Arena. The shirt is good for general admission to the game, and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the special pink Lady’Back shirts goes to the Komen Foundation.

"This is a cause close to many of our families and to all women," Lady’Back head coach Tom Collen said. "We hope we’ll see lots of folks with their pink shirts to support both the Lady’Backs and the fight against breast cancer."

Just over 1,000 of the Hogs Think Pink tee-shirts were sold prior to game week. The tee-shirts are $15, and fans that already have tickets for Thursday’s game can purchase just the shirts for $10.
