Join the Razorbacks For National Girls and Women In Sport Day

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Join the University of Arkansas Razorback student-athletes in celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Sunday, Feb. 28.

Student-athletes and coaches from several teams and departments will be on hand conducting mini-clinics prior to the final regular season home women’s basketball game when the Razorbacks host Ole Miss at 3 p.m.

The clinics are free and open to all girls between 5-12 years of age. All participants much register in advance – registration will not be available on the day of the clinic. Attendance is limited to the first 150 participants.

The clinics begin at 12:30 in the Basketball Performance Center across the street from Bud Walton Arena with a special kick off welcome from women’s basketball coach Jimmy Dykes.

Kids will be treated to interactive sports fun with soccer, volleyball, women’s track and field, women’s golf, swimming and diving, women’s tennis, the spirit squads, the strength and conditioning staff and the nutrition staff.

  • Check-in from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Basketball Performance Center, located directly across the main entrance of Bud Walton Arena.
  • Register and receive a FREE game ticket to the Feb. 28 women’s basketball game following the clinic. Additional tickets are just $1 each.
  • No equipment needed by participants, however, comfortable athletic attire and sneakers are required.
  • Participants will be put in teams for the event based on ages. We look forward to your daughter making new friends!
