LaBarbera Moves Into Round Of Eight

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – University of Arkansas freshman Jordy LaBarbera moved into the round of eight with a match play win at the WWGA 115^th National Amateur Championship Wednesday.

LaBarbera, an Allen, Texas, native, defeated Cecily Overbey of High Point, N.C., in 21 holes to advance in the second flight.  The tournament is being held at the Nashville Golf and Athletic Club in Brentwood, Tenn.

She faces Haylee Harford of Leavittsburg, Ohio, Thursday as play continues.
