Lady'Backs head to Lexington to take on Wildcats in SEC battle

FAYETTEVILLE – The No. 30 University of Arkansas Lady Razorback tennis team will be in search of their third straight Southeastern Conference win against No. 15 Kentucky on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.

The Lady’Backs (8-5, 2-1 in SEC) are coming off an, 5-2, upset against 20th-ranked Vanderbilt on Friday. Arkansas will be looking to get thing started right and win their seventh-straight doubles point in Sunday’s SEC battle against the Wildcats (10-4, 1-2 in SEC).

In Kentucky’s most recent match, they dropped a close, 4-3, match to Louisiana State on Friday. The Cats feature No. 77 Sarah Woestmann in singles, and No. 50 Carolina Escamilla and Megan Broderick in doubles.

Kentucky leads the all-time series with a 15-3 record, winning last season’s match, 4-1, in a tight battle in Fayetteville.
