FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Recently ranked No. 1 in the USTFCCCA preseason poll, the Arkansas women’s track & field team will embark on its 2019 indoor campaign this Friday as the hosts of the Arkansas Invitational. The meet will begin Friday, Jan. 11 at 12:30 p.m. CT with the men’s shot put while running events will follow at 3:20 p.m. with the women’s 400-meters.

Leading the charge for the Razorbacks this season will be All-American multi-event performer Kelsey Herman, the All-American pole vault trio of Desiree Freier, Tori Hoggard and Lexi Jacobus, and the sprint group of All-American Janeek Brown, Jada Baylark, and Kiara Parker. Also look for a few key freshmen to be impact contributors for Arkansas this season.

As a new season begins on the track, a new season of #InTheZone gets underway as well with a new format for 2019. Join us for a new season of In the Zone Luncheons set to kick off on Tuesday, January 22. The five event series, to be held on one Tuesday of each month, will be hosted by Coach Chris Bucknam and Coach Lance Harter. The event is open to fans, local track officials, and the media and will once again take place at Bordinos (310 W. Dickson Street). The program will start at 12 p.m. CT with a weekly recap/outlook from the coaches, a moderated student-athlete panel, and an audience Q&A.

Clear Bag Policy in Effect
Reminder:
Guests may bring otherwise approved items into the Randal Tyson Indoor Track Center using bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar). Individuals may also carry a small clutch purses, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap. All clear bags and clutch purses will be screened prior to entry into the venue. Although permitted, childcare items, including diapers, must also be carried in an approved clear bag. Individuals carrying required medical supplies or devices into the venue are not subject to the clear bag policy. However, a through screening of the bag and the medical items will be conducted prior to entry. The person requiring these supplies or devices must accompany the bag at all times. Medical exception bags will be tagged once cleared through security.

Season tickets are available online, contacting the Razorback Athletics Ticket Center at 800-982-HOGS, or visiting in person. The Ticket Center is located just east of Baum Stadium at 1295 S. Razorback Road in Fayetteville. For 2019 season ticket holders, we have your pint glass ready for you! To thank you for your loyalty to Razorback Track & Field this season, a Limited Edition Pint Glass will be ready for you at the meet on Friday. You can pick yours up at the Marketing Table located in the Lobby of the Tyson Indoor Track Center beginning when doors open.
