No. 7 Soccer Returns to Host Alabama

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 7 Razorback soccer (9-2-0, 4-0-0 SEC) returns to Fayetteville to host Alabama (7-6-0, 2-2-0 SEC) on Thursday, Oct. 7. First kick is set for 6 p.m. CT and the match will be televised on SEC Network.

The Hogs have not lost since Aug. 22, and are currently on a nine-game win streak, the longest stretch in program history.

Scouting the Tide
Alabama is coming off an upset victory on Sunday, defeating No. 24 LSU, 1-0. The Tide are led by forward Ashlynn Serepca, who leads the team in goals (5), assists (3), points (13), and shots (27).

The squads last faced each other on Oct. 11, 2020, in Tuscaloosa. The match ended in a 2-1 overtime victory for the Razorbacks.

Last Time Out
The Razorbacks extended their winning streak on Sunday, defeating Georgia, 4-1. The Hogs started firing immediately, scoring three goals in the first eight minutes. Georgia got one back in the 14th minute but that was all for the Bulldogs. Taylor Malham gave Arkansas insurance in the second half, scoring her second goal of the day in the 49th minute.

Arkansas improved to 4-0-0 in SEC play and sits atop the conference standings with South Carolina.
