No. 16 women's tennis host No. 44 Cougars Friday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The 16th-ranked University of Arkansas Razorback women’s tennis team will host their fifth straight home-match to begin the season for the first time since 2004, Friday at 3 p.m. against No. 44 Brigham Young.

“BYU brings a tough team every year and we’ll be looking to have a strong performance against them coming off a nice showing in Provo (Utah) last season,” said Arkansas head coach Michael Hegarty.

The Razorbacks (3-1) sit within the Top 20 of the ITA rankings, while second-ranked Aurelija Miseviciute will be looking for 108th career singles win on Friday. One more win will give Miseviciute the all-time record for singles wins at Arkansas.

Arkansas is 2-3 all-time against BYU (2-2) including a 5-2 win over the Cougars last season.
