Oreo Blue Headlines Pre-game Concert in The Gardens on Saturday Presented by AT&T

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Oreo Blue, a popular Fayetteville band, will headline a free concert in the new Gardens tailgate area located on Razorback Road this Saturday presented by AT&T and Hogville.net Kyle Gibson, front man for local band Hunkr Down, will open for Oreo Blue.

The concert will begin at 1 p.m. Gibson will play from 1-3 p.m. Oreo Blue will take the stage at approximately 3:15 p.m. and play until 6:30 p.m.

Oreo Blue is widely regarded as one of the region’s top acts and has thrilled audiences for over 15 years in clubs, at festivals, corporate parties, and special events. Oreo Blue has produced six independently released original audio CDs that have sold copies in 20 different countries. Oreo Blue has been named Blues Band of the Year five times.

Gibson’s Hunkr Down was named the Dance/Party Band of the Year at the 2005 OMA Awards. While performing his solo routine, Kyle intertwines professionally executed acoustic guitar work and dynamic vocals with wit and humor to please any crowd.

The Gardens has a pavilion, five gazebos and 124 reserved tailgate spots that can be rented. A large grass area in the center of The Gardens is available for use by anyone at no cost on gamedays. Access to The Gardens exists off Razorback Road, just inside lot 56 south of The Gardens, and to the north off Leroy Pond Road.

A limited number of individual tailgate spots remain for the season and there is one gazebo available for the Sept. 2 game versus Southern California.

The Gardens was created and built though the generosity of former Razorback football players Jerry Jones and Jim Lindsey.
