#ProHogs In The NFL - Week 7 Report

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Here’s a look at how the 13 former Arkansas football players active on NFL rosters fared this past weekend in Week 7 of the NFL season.

BEST OF WEEK 7

Hunter Henry, TE, Los Angeles Chargers
For the second-straight week, tight end Hunter Henry was a big target in the Chargers’ passing game, hauling in six catches for 97 yards in the 23-20 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Henry is just two weeks removed from injury, but is showing no rust as he played all but six snaps against the Titans and all six of his catches went for first downs. In just three games this year, Henry has 257 yards receiving on just 18 catches and his two touchdowns are third-best on the team.

Frank Ragnow, C, Detroit Lions
It’s been steady production for Frank Ragnow this year as he started his sixth game of the year in the Lions 42-30 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Ragnow has played 425 snaps this year, including all 76 against the Vikings on Sunday and is slowly building a Pro Bowl resume as the Lions have the eighth-best offense in the NFL, averaging over 380 yards per game. In the NFC, the Lions offense is the fifth-best and are averaging 277.2 passing yards per game.

Deatrich Wise, Jr., DE, New England Patriots
Wise made his first start of the season on Monday night in New England’s 33-0 shutout of the New York Jets. The Patriots are one of two teams still undefeated in the NFL and much of that reason is because of the New England defense, including Wise. The former Hog only played in 19 snaps of the blowout, but still was able to make a pair of tackles, including one at the line of scrimmage. Wise now has eight tackles on the year, seven being solo stops, two tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble and six QB hits. If he gets two more tackles, he’ll join 14 other Patriots with 10 or more tackles this year. New England currently has the best defense in the NFL, allowing opposing offenses to just 223.1 yards per game and 74.7 rushing yards per game, which ranks second best.
