Razorback Tennis Team Up to No. 17 in Rankings

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas tennis team has moved up three spots to No. 17 in the newest FILA Collegiate Tennis Rankings, which were released on Tuesday.

Head coach Robert Cox’s club is 11-5 with wins over No. 11 Virginia, No. 21 Tennessee, No. 39 Tulsa twice and No. 42 Oklahoma.

The Razorbacks continue to have four players in the singles rankings. Senior Adrians Zguns is No. 15 in the nation, followed by senior Matt Roberts at No. 46, senior Rohan Gajjar at No. 82 and freshman Blake Strode at No. 101.

Zguns leads the team with a 20-4 record. Roberts and Gajjar are each 21-5 while Strode is 17-4.

In the doubles rankings, Zguns and Strode are No. 25 with a 9-3 mark while Roberts and Gajjar are No. 47 with a 9-6 record.

The Razorbacks are off until March 24 when they play host to No. 14 Florida at 1:30 p.m. and March 26 when No. 52 South Carolina visits for an 11:30 a.m. match.
