Baseball Promotions Set For Final Home Series

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 23 Arkansas baseball team is set to host a series of promotions during the final home series of the year when the Razorbacks welcome Tennessee to town for a three-game series May 8-10 at Baum Stadium.

Arkansas and Tennessee are slated to play Friday at 6:35 p.m., Saturday at 6:05 p.m. and Sunday at 12:05 p.m. Purchase tickets to the series by clicking here.

The series opener will conclude with a bang as Friday Night Fireworks presented by Arvest Bank will take place following the final out. Saturday will feature a Pulled Pork Cook-Off starting at 4 p.m. with tickets available for $5. The winner of the Pulled Pork Cook-Off will receive a $250 cash price. The first 1,000 fans to Saturday’s game will also receive the 2015 Arkansas Team Trading Card Packs, while the first 500 fans through the gate on Sunday will receive a commemorative pin.

Arkansas Baseball is partnering with the City of Fayetteville on Sunday for Bike to the Game day. A free Bike valet service will be provided in the East Baum Parking Lot. In addition, cyclists can join the “Bike Fayetteville” ride which will end at Baum Stadium. Participants will be eligible for door prizes and will receive a coupon to purchase a discounted $8 general admission ticket for the game.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early on Saturday as the 2015 Arkansas baseball seniors will be honored before first pitch.

Arkansas fans set the Baum Stadium record for tickets sold at a game last weekend at 12,589, while the actual crowd of 10,837 was the third largest in stadium history. The Razorbacks currently rank No. 3 in the country in attendance, averaging 7,888 fans per game.

Friday Promotions (May 8)
One of the best firework shows in Northwest Arkansas is back at Baum Stadium following the conclusion of the series opener. The annual Friday Night Fireworks presented by Arvest Bank will take place immediately following a special on-field performance by the 2015 RBI Girls.

Saturday Promotions (May 9)
Arrive early as the 2015 Arkansas baseball senior class will be honored prior to first pitch.

The Arkansas Trading Card Packs giveaway features commemorative baseball cards of the entire 2015. The trading cards are available to the first 1,000 fans in attendance.

The inaugural Pulled Pork Cook-Off at Baum Stadium will start at 4 p.m. and feature the best pulled pork from individuals and restaurants from around the state. Tickets can be purchased for $5 by clicking here.

Sunday Promotions (May 10)
This season’s annual commemorative baseball pins will be given out on Senior Day to the first 500 fans in attendance. The 2015 edition is made in the shape of a Razorback Baseball Cap. These pins are often the favorites of long-time fans and are seen on hats around Baum Stadium.
