Razorbacks Back on CST

NEW ORLEANS – Cox Sports Television (CST) is ready to call the Hogs this season with the return of the network’s Razorback-themed shows.

Prior to UA’s season-opener Thursday against Florida A&M from Little Rock, ARKANSAS GAMEDAY will return for its third season. The LIVE broadcast will emanate from the network’s studio in New Orleans beginning at 5 p.m. The new hour-long show will feature the return of two former Razorback greats.

Former defensive back Ken Hamlin and former running back Felix Jones will join host Gus Kattengill as the trio prepares Hog fans for each contest. Hamlin was a first-team All-American for the Razorbacks, was drafted in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks and was selected to the Pro Bowl as a member of the Dallas Cowboys. Jones was a consensus first-team All-American at Arkansas before becoming a first round pick by the Cowboys. He later played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers.

CST’s coverage of the Hogs continues throughout the week with many chances for Arkansas fans to catch up with their favorite team. ON THE AIR WITH BRET BIELEMA allows fans to get all the behind-the-scenes information from the football head coach.

Other Arkansas-themed events this Fall on CST include HOG TALES, THE BRET BIELEMA PRESS CONFERENCE, THE BRET BIELEMA SHOW, THE HOGSPYS and the UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS SPORTS HALL OF HONOR.

The network agreement with Arkansas will allow CST to broadcast selected baseball, softball, women’s basketball, volleyball, soccer, track and field and gymnastics events. The Arkansas women’s soccer team will return to the network on September 10 on the road against Providence.
