Return Home Against Mississippi State On ESPN

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – After its upcoming trip to No. 9 LSU this Saturday, Arkansas will return to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Nov. 21 to host No. 20 Mississippi State for a 6 p.m. kick-off. The game will be Arkansas’ second straight and fourth this season on ESPN.

The Razorbacks improved to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the SEC after their 53-52 overtime win at No. 19 Ole Miss on Saturday night. Led by senior quarterback Brandon Allen, who threw for a program record six touchdowns and 422 yards, Arkansas eclipsed the 50-point plateau for the third straight game for the first time since 1916.

Allen was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday while junior wide out Drew Morgan was added to the Biletnikoff Award watch list. Both have been critical pieces in Arkansas’ two overtime wins against Auburn and Ole Miss. Allen leads the nation with three touchdown passes in overtime this season, which have all been to Morgan to make up part of his SEC-leading nine on the year.

The visit to Fayetteville will be the first by Mississippi State since the 2003 season, which resulted in a 52-6 Arkansas win. The last five meetings in Arkansas between the two teams have been held in Little Rock.
