As a Junior (2022-23)

Savva played at the No. 1 position throughout the dual season for the Razorbacks, amassing a 5-18 singles record. Savva defeated Vanderbilt’s Joubert Klopper in two set tiebreakers, 7-6, 7-6, to begin conference play. In doubles, Savva played with partners Alan Sau Franco and Melvin Manuel at the No. 1 or No. 2 position. Savva and Sau Franco went 6-9 together as a duo to end the regular season on court two.
As a Sophomore at Charlotte (2021-22)
Was a highlight of the 49ers Fall campaign, advancing to the semifinals of the ITA Carolina Regionals and the quarterfinals of the ITA Fall National Championships in doubles with partner Coy Simon. The pair went 7-2 as a newly formed pair, with a duo of victories over ranked foes at Nationals, before entering the Spring season ranked ninth in the ITA Doubles rankings. Went 7-3 in singles play in the Fall, making it to the final of his flight’s main draw at the Elon Fall Invitational to begin the Niners Fall campaign. Spring: Second Team All-Conference USA and Conference USA Tournament Most Outstanding Singles Performer. Went 3-0 in singles play at the C-USA Tournament, pushing the Niners to a, 4-3, victory over Rice in the quarters and a, 4-0, drubbing of FAU in the semis. Earned his best win of the season in the C-USA title, downing No. 80 Francisco Rocha, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 to tie the final at 3-3 in the days late, late stages. Split time at the No. 3 and No. 2 position in singles play, compiling a record of 16-7, while being a steady presence near the top of the 49ers lineup. Clinched match point in the Niners, 4-2, victory over Old Dominion with a tight, three-set victory over Younes lalami, 6-2, 3-6, 7-6(3) to end CLT’s 32-year losing streak to Old Dominion.
As a Freshman at Charlotte (2020-21)
Went 10-8 in singles action during dual play, appearing primarily at the No. 4 position where he finished the year, 7-4.
Personal
A Paralimni, Cyprus native, Stefanos is the son of Yiounnos and Brounka Socvva and has one sister, Maria. Stefanos plans on going pro in tennis after college and his life ambition is to become the best tennis player in the world. His favorite athlete is tennis player Novak Djokovic and besides tennis, he likes playing soccer. Stefanos is majoring in communications at Arkansas.
