SEC Announces Kickoff Times And TV Information

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Southeastern Conference (SEC) released kickoff times and television networks for the first three weeks of the 2016 season Tuesday.

Arkansas’ Sept. 3 season opener against Louisiana Tech in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium will kick off at 3 p.m. CST on the SEC Network.

The Razorbacks’ Sept. 17 home game against Texas State will start at 6:30 p.m. CST and air on the SEC Network Alternate channel.

Four of the Razorbacks’ 12 games now have kickoff times set. As previously announced by the Big 12 Conference on Wednesday, Arkansas’ Sept. 10 kickoff at TCU will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2 at 6 p.m. CST.

A new start time for the third annual Battle Line Rivalry at Missouri was also announced by the SEC last Wednesday. The game has been moved to Friday, Nov. 25. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. CST. CBS will televise the game to a national audience.

Arkansas went 8-5 (5-3 SEC) last season. The Razorbacks won six of their last seven games, including a 45-23 decision over Kansas State in the 2016 AutoZone Liberty Bowl. With the win, Arkansas became the only SEC West program to win a bowl game each of the last two seasons (2014, 2015).

Arkansas is the only Football Bowl Subdivision team that will face four teams on its home field that were ranked in the top 25 prior to the 2015 bowl season. With the defending national champion, the defending SEC Eastern Division champion, and two SEC Western Division rivals all coming to town, you won’t want to miss out on the 2016 season.

Razorback Foundation members and season ticket holders can now purchase single game tickets at the Razorback Ticket Center, by phone at 1-800-982-HOGS (4647) or online. If you are interested in Razorback Foundation member seating including lower and club levels, please contact the Razorback Ticket Center. Season tickets for the 2016 campaign also are still available.
