SEC Cross Country Championships to Air on Sunday on the SEC Network

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The 2014 Southeastern Conference Cross Country Championships will air as part of a 30-minute highlight show on the SEC Network on Sunday at 8 p.m. CT. The show also will be available through ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.

Thad Anderson and Larry Rawson will handle the broadcast commentary.

Senior Stanley Kebenei and redshirt junior Dominique Scott took the individual titles as the University of Arkansas men and women swept the 2014 SEC Cross Country Championships, which took place on October 31 at the Harry Pritchett Running Course in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Next up for the Razorbacks will be the 2014 NCAA South Central Regional Cross Country Championships, which they will host at Agri Park on Nov. 14.

The Razorbacks will host a NCAA Cross Country Regional for the third time in school history and the 2014 event will mark the second time in a three-year span Agri Park will serve as the site for a NCAA Regional.

Teams from eight conferences including the American, Big 12, Conference USA, Southeastern, Southland, Southwestern Athletic, Sun Belt and Western Athletic Conferences will square off at Agri Park to compete for an automatic spot in the NCAA Championship which will be held Saturday, Nov. 22 in Terre Haute, Ind.

Arkansas and Agri Park have served as hosts for NCAA Regionals in 2007 and 2012.

The top two teams and top four individuals not on those squads will receive automatic spots in the NCAA Championship. At-large teams and individuals will be announced following the completion of all nine NCAA Regional championships.
