Soccer to Honor Seniors Friday Night Versus Missouri

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – No. 6 Razorback soccer (11-2-0, 6-0-0 SEC) returns to Fayetteville to host Missouri (5-8-0, 1-5-0 SEC) on Friday, Oct. 15. First kick is set for 7 p.m. CT and the match will be broadcast on SEC Network+.

The Hogs have not lost since Aug. 22, and are currently on an 11-game win streak, the longest stretch in program history.

Scouting the Tigers
Missouri is coming off 3-2 overtime victory against Florida.

The squads last faced each other on Sept. 27, 2018. The match ended in a 1-0 victory for the Razorbacks.

Last Time Out
The Razorbacks extended their winning streak on Sunday, defeating Vanderbilt, 1-0 in overtime. The squads traded several chances off the crossbar but could not convert. Senior Parker Goins scored the golden goal three minutes into the extra period, assisted by freshman Sophia Aragon.

Arkansas improved to 6-0-0 in SEC play, and currently sits atop the conference standings.

The Razorbacks will be celebrating eight seniors including Cora Duininck, Parker Goins, Bryana Hunter, Taylor Malham, Tyler Runnels, Haley VanFossen, Kaelee Van Gundy and Payton Woodward.

Friday’s match will also be a red out, international student night, and youth soccer night. Youth teams wishing to attend and be recognized at halftime can email jsrente@uark.edu for more information.

The Hogs will also host HOG-TOBERFEST, which includes an expanded beer selection at the Razorback Field beer garden, and throughout the venue.

Adult tickets are $5, and kids get in free. The first 1,000 fans will receive a noisemaker, while the first 500 will get a Razorback soccer cup.
