The forecast says some rain possible later, but doesn’t look like it now. 1:00 PM UPDATE: Yes, it’s raining. No, RazorFest is not off — in fact, lots of activities are going on under the cover of the stadium. The rains are likely to slack off in next half hour, and intermitant rain the rest of the afternoon. Looks like it all clears out by kickoff. Good morning and welcome to Fayetteville for today’s spring game. Bill Smith here with you when we get to the live keyboarding. As the day opens, we anticipate some early rains that should clear out by game time. This may impact RazorFest, which starts at noon, more than the game itself, which begins at 6 p.m. Updates prior to the start of the live blog at 4:30 p.m. will be sent out via the official Twitter feeds (@ArkRazorbacks and @RazorbackRoad), posted on the main website if significant. Remember, today’s events are FREE and a ton of fun for the whole family. If today is your first time as a BlogHog (that’s the name the folks on the earlier baseball, softball and basketball versions of the CoverItLive interactive blogs gave themselves), a few ground rules and suggestions. First, no "guest" or screen names please. We ask you to use your real name, and maybe your home town (I know it might be hard to keep all the "Bill"s straight if it wasn’t say, Bill Smith or Bill Smith from Fayetteville). Second, this is a moderated chat, and not everything gets passed through. Often, three or four folks will have the same thought, and I try to spread it around as to who gets in with what question or observation. And last of all, we expect a lot of folks joining in so please be patient — we’re here to answer questions but the main reason it so get info out on the game to folks whose only way of keeping up with the game is the interactive blog. If we take 10 comments then one play-by-play entry, it’s tough on the readers. A great way to use the blog if you are mobile and have an iPhone/iTouch/iPad is to use iHog. The CoverItLive box below works great with the Apple mobile devices. If that’s not an option (it’s a big download — so you’ll need to be WiFi or sync), CoverItLive has an app also that’s just the box.
