Women’s Tennis Releases Spring Slate

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- Arkansas women’s tennis head coach Courtney Steinbock announced the Razorbacks’ 2019 spring schedule Friday morning.

Schedule Highlights

The Razorbacks, who are in their first season under Steinbock, will open their 47th season on the road with a doubleheader at Kennesaw State. The team will kick off its home schedule on Jan. 20, hosting Saint Louis at George M. Billingsley Tennis Center.

February is the highlight of the non-conference schedule, with the Hogs facing three Power-5 opponents and three teams who competed in the 2018 NCAA Tournament. Oklahoma State will travel to the Hill on Feb. 1, with the Feb. 3 match-up against Oklahoma the first of a tripleheader with the men’s team.

The team will close the road portion of its non-conference slate in February, traveling to Tulsa (Feb. 9), Loyola Marymount (Feb. 16), and Kansas (Feb. 23).

Arkansas will open SEC play in March, facing defending conference champion and national runner-up Vanderbilt (March 3) after Kentucky (March 1). The team will return home for a five-match homestand, hosting Florida (March 8), South Carolina (March 10), Missouri (March 15), LSU (March 22), and Texas A&M (March 22).

Closing March play in Mississippi against Ole Miss (March 29) and Mississippi State (March 31), the Razorbacks will host Georgia on April 5 before hosting Tennessee and Oral Roberts on April 7 for a doubleheader on the home finale.

The final two regular-season matches will put the Hogs at Alabama (April 12) and Auburn (April 14). The conference tournament will be hosted by Texas A&M from April 17-21.
