INTERVIEWS

Interviews with our coaches and student-athletes are encouraged, but we require all interview arrangements be made via the Arkansas Communications Office. University of Arkansas football student-athletes are generally available for interviews during a game week. All student-athlete and assistant coach interview requests must be made at least one day in advance to allow time to facilitate the notification process. Telephone interviews can be arranged, but student-athletes’ telephone numbers will not be provided and student-athletes are instructed to direct all interview requests to the Arkansas Communications Office. Student housing, the training room, the weight room and locker rooms are off-limits to members of the media.

DAILY PRACTICE

Please consult with the Arkansas Communications Office for practice information regarding times, days and accessibility. Following select practice sessions, select members of the coaching staff and/or student-athletes will be available for group interviews with the media. All media members, including video and still photographers, from accredited media outlets wishing to shoot practices are asked to consult with the Arkansas Communications Office for current guidelines prior to arrival at the practice field.

WEEKLY PRESS CONFERENCE OPPORTUNITIES

SEC WEEKLY COACHES’ TELECONFERENCE

In conjunction with the Southeastern Conference, head coach Sam Pittman will participate each week in the league’s teleconference of football coaches. The teleconferences will be conducted each Wednesday from Aug. 31 to Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. CT to 12:10 p.m. CT. Accredited media members only may access the broadcast-quality teleconference. Callers may participate in the question-and-answer session with an individual coach or all SEC coaches. ARKANSAS FTP SITE

GAME CREDENTIAL REQUEST

All requests for media and/or photo credentials must be online at SportsSystems.com/ Arkansas. Requests should be made at least 10 days in advance. Credentials must be requested and will be granted on a game-by-game basis only. No multi-game or full season credentials will be issued. Please see media credentialing guidelines online at SportsSystems.com/Arkansas. Space limitations prevent accommodation of weekly media representatives. Only fully accredited personnel directly involved in the coverage of the game will be admitted. Credentials are non-transferable. The Arkansas Communications Office reserves the right to revoke any credential: (1) used by an individual other than the one for whom it was granted; (2) any individual who refuses to comply with press box and/or photographic area guidelines; (3) any individual who is not an accredited member of the media; (4) any individual under the age of 16. Credentials will not be mailed. They may be picked up beginning three hours prior to kickoff at the media will call station at the base of the elevator at both Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville and War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. Photo identification is required when picking up credentials.

GAMEDAY PARKING

Limited parking is available in Fayetteville and Little Rock for media members. Those media members needing parking should make the request at least two weeks in advance to allow time for mailing.

LIVE STATS

Live in-game stats will be provided for the media at RazorbackStats.com.

WIRELESS INTERNET

The Arkansas press box does have wireless access. Information for accessing the network is available in the press box.

GAME CREDENTIALS

Only fully accredited personnel directly involved in the coverage of the game will be admitted. Credentials are non-transferable and must be applied for by the outlets’ editor or sports director. The Communications Office reserves the right to revoke any credential: (1) used by an individual other than the one to whom it was granted; (2) any individual who refused to comply with press row and/or photographic guidelines; (3) any individual who is not an accredited member of the media; and (4) any individual under the age of 16. Credentials will not be mailed. Media Will Call opens 90 minutes before tip-off at the white door to the right of the south entrance (off Nolan Richardson Drive) to Bud Walton Arena. Be prepared to present a photo identification when picking up credentials.

MEDIA WILL CALL

Located on the south side of Bud Walton Arena off Nolan Richardson Drive, just right of the main ticket window. All passes are left at media will call – no credentials are mailed.

GAMEDAY PARKING

Most parking credentials issued will be for Lot 56. All requests should be made to Associate Communications Director Mike Cawood.

GAMEDAY MEDIA SERVICES

All media needs can be fulfilled online. Game notes for both teams will be posted on Arkansas’ Men’s Basketball page at: arkansasrazorbacks.com/sport/m-baskbl/mens-basketball-game-notes. Live in-game stats will be provided for the media at: arkansas.statbroadcast.com. Final statistics (box score, play-by-play, shot chart) will be emailed as well as be available on ArkansasRazorbacks.com.

MEDIA SEATING / WORKROOM

Media seating is in the upper corner of the lower bowl. Bud Walton Arena’s media work room will be open and media are asked stay out of the visiting teams’ locker room area. Arkansas will conduct in-person postgame interviews. Visiting teams’ postgame interviews will be held in a separate location. Wireless Internet is available in the workroom and in the arena. Please see Associate Communications Director Mike Cawood or a member of the communications staff for login information.

PHOTOGRAPHERS

Photographers will be able to shoot from the designated baseline positions. However, space will be limited and applying for a credential does not guarantee a spot. Arkansas Communications reserves the right to limit the number of strobe units used and requests to hang strobe lights at BWA must be made in writing one week prior to any contest.

MEDIA FTP

Since photographer spots will be limited, Arkansas will use the SEC Media Portal to provide for both video and still photos, Please contact the Athletics Communications Office for more details.

GAME CREDENTIALS

Members of the media should contact Oliver Grigg to request individual game credentials for Razorback home games. Credential requests should be made no later than noon (CT) the day before the scheduled contest and should be directed by email to Oliver Grigg. Credential requests for away games should be made to the communications contact of the home team. Only fully accredited personnel directly involved in the coverage of the game will be admitted. Credentials are non-transferable.

INTERVIEW POLICIES

Please direct all requests for interviews with coaches and players to Oliver Grigg. For home SEC weekends, head coach Dave Van Horn will hold his weekly press conference on Wednesday or Thursday with players and assistant coaches available after by request. On road SEC weekends, Van Horn will hold his weekly press conference on Tuesday or Wednesday with players and assistant coaches available after by request. Players are not available for interviews on gamedays, except for postgame interviews. Postgame press conferences at Baum-Walker Stadium will be held in the BaumWalker Stadium media room, located in the old visiting clubhouse along the first base line. The Arkansas clubhouse is off limits to the media at all times.

EMAIL UPDATES

Members of the media may request to be added to the Arkansas Communications baseball e-mail group. Subscribers will receive game notes, game stories and other information. To subscribe, send a request to Oliver Grigg. Please identify yourself and your organization in your request as this service is only available to members of the media.

GAMEDAY MEDIA SERVICES

The Arkansas communications staff provides scorecards, rosters, updated statistics and results for each team. During the 2023 season, only scorecards will be printed for the media. All other information will only be available digitally. SEC

MEDIA PORTAL

Highlights, Photos & Press Conferences: Arkansas, the SEC and XOS Digital will provide a platform for distribution of game highlights, game photos and press conference content. To request access to the SEC Media Portal and create an account, contact: licensing@xosdigital.com.

MEDIA MEALS & BEVERAGES

The media will be provided a voucher for the concession stands. Water and other beverages will be made available to media members in the press box.

WIRELESS INTERNET

The Baum-Walker Stadium press box is equipped with wireless internet. Media members can access the #RazorbackWIFI network by entering an email in the login portal.

GAMEDAY LIVE STATS

Live in-game stats will be provided at RazorbackStats.com.

FACILITIES/PARKING

The Arkansas baseball team plays all home games at Baum-Walker Stadium at George Cole Field. Baum-Walker Stadium is located just off Razorback Road south of Martin Luther King, Jr., Boulevard. Parking passes are available for the Tyson Track – South lot, which is located on 15th Street between Beechwood Drive and DeBryin Drive, and the Cardinal lot, which is located along Baum Drive. Only cars with a proper parking credential will be allowed access to the lots.

PHOTOGRAPHERS

No cameras are allowed on the Baum-Walker Stadium playing surface during games. Photographers are encouraged to use the photo wells at the end of each dugout and behind home plate.
