Great intangibles and a "never-quit" attitude
Jade Orange, from Edmond, Okla., was recruited for the great intangibles she will bring to the program. Possessing an elite SEC pace coupled with a never-quit attitude, Arkansas coaches believe those attributes will translate to goals at the next level.
"Recruiting the states that surround Arkansas, especially Oklahoma, has been key to our success here at the University," Razorback soccer head coach Colby Hale said. "We are excited that a player of Jade's caliber decided to leave her home state in order to continue her development both as a student and as an athlete."
Orange said before leaving for her first college visit, a former coach called and gave her sage advice: To be careful with her decision and that each school she visits will be better than the last one.
"He said, 'At the end of the day when you leave the school, you'll know if that's where you want to be,'" Orange said. "Before leaving the University of Arkansas during my official visit, I knew this is where I want to be."

"Jade is the fastest player in Oklahoma. She has elite SEC speed. She has worked extremely hard over the past couple of years to get herself SEC-ready both technically and tactically. She is a high character kid who will do whatever is asked of her to help the team. We use her in a variety of roles, but as a forward at the next level, we are excited to watch her continue to grow and thrive as a player." Lexi Vizarelis
