Rated by TopDrawerSoccer.com as a 3-star recruit and the No. 28 player in Texas
Kayla McKeon, one of four student-athletes joining the Razorbacks from the Dallas Sting soccer club, is a central player with fantastic vision and creativity. Razorback coaches have praised McKeon's technical ability to execute passes and combinations as a critical skillset for the team.
Outside the classroom, McKeon was a standout student at Sachse High School, graduating 24th in her class of 698 with a 4.2 GPA. McKeon said her main motivation for deciding to sign with the Razorbacks is to make a positive impact with the team.
"I want to be a part of creating history and I believe this soccer program has the opportunity to be great," McKeon said. "The campus is absolutely beautiful and it's not too far from home. The atmosphere of the team, coaches, and the school in general, is like a family. The University of Arkansas also gives great academic support to their student-athletes and there's a wide variety of majors. Most importantly, I feel like the program is going to push me and make me a better person and player. The coaches share my competitive, but goofy side and a strong desire to win. I'm very excited to become a part of the big Razorback family."

"We can't be more excited that Kayla chose to come to school and compete here at the University of Arkansas. She is a talented box-to-box midfielder with a great work ethic. Her ability in the air will be a crucial asset to us as we look to continue to dominate in that area." Colby Hale
