Jazmyn Sollars, from Allentown, Pa., was a fortuitous pickup for the Razorbacks thanks to Arkansas Soccer Assistant Coach Kristi Kiely. A dependable, athletic defender who rises to the occasion, Sollars has all the tools needed to succeed in that position thanks to her pace, strength and mentality.
"We are incredibly excited to have found her and received her commitment," Arkansas soccer head coach Colby Hale said.
So why did Sollars sign with the Razorbacks?
"Arkansas has everything I'm looking for in a school," Sollars said. "What attracted me was the student body size, the location, the beautiful campus, my major, and the SEC. Once I visited the campus, I met one of the players and coaches and got to see myself there. I knew then I wanted to spend four years being a Razorback."
