DMR Caps Regular Season in South Bend
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The No. 1 Arkansas men’s track and field team capped their regular season at Notre Dame’s Alex Wilson Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Razorbacks finished 14th in the distance medley relay with a time of 9:39.82.
A team of Alex George, Eric Janise, Carlton Orange and Austen Dalquist made the trip to South Bend for the stacked relay competition.
Ranked in the NCAA top 25 at 3,000 meters George led off for the Razorbacks running the 1,200 meter leg of the race. Janise and Orange put forth solid efforts in the 400 and 800 meter sections respectively and Dalquist anchored the relay with the mile leg.
With the regular season completed the Razorbacks shift their focus towards postseason competition which begins next weekend at home with the conference championships.
Arkansas will host the 2016 SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships on Feb. 26-27. All-Session tickets for the 2016 SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships are now on sale.
