DMR Races to Top Three Finish
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The No. 4 Arkansas women’s track and field team completed their regular season with a top three performance in the distance medley relay at the Alex Wilson Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
Facing off against teams from Baylor, Indiana, Illinois State, Kansas, LSU, Michigan, Missouri, Notre Dame and Purdue the Razorback relay made up of Nikki Hiltz, Daina Harper, Therese Haiss and Jessica Kamilos dropped a little under three seconds from their previous best to place third overall with 11:05.19.
Kamilos anchored the relay running a solid mile leg to help the Razorbacks finish ahead of SEC rival LSU who finished fourth in 11:05.34.
The Razorbacks currently have the eighth best performance in the DMR this season.
Arkansas will host the 2016 SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships on Feb. 26-27. All-Session tickets for the 2016 SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships are now on sale.
