Gymnastics Announces Upcoming Promotions
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Best Show in Town will soon make its return to Barnhill Arena, and the No. 17 Arkansas Gymnastics team is excited to announce fun-filled themes and promotions for each of the five home meets for the upcoming season.
The first home meet, Friday, Jan. 13 vs. Missouri, will be Tutu Dance Party Night, with a tutu giveaway and a contest with a prize for the best decorated tutu. Young girls are encouraged to wear their own tutus to the meet.
The Friday, Jan. 27, meet against Alabama will feature an American Girl Doll Party and Superhero Night, with an American Girl Doll and superhero cape giveaway throughout the meet. Kids are encouraged to bring their American girl dolls and wear their superhero costumes to the meet.
The third home meet on Friday, Feb. 10 vs. LSU will be Daddy-Daughter Princess Date Night, with a light-up tiara giveaway and other princess-related promotions geared toward young girls. Costumed princesses will also make appearances before and during the meet.
The annual Pink Meet will take place on Friday, Feb. 17 vs. Florida, featuring a Pink Out to support breast cancer awareness. Pink foam light sticks will be provided to fans, and breast cancer survivors will be recognized during the opening ceremonies.
The Razorbacks close out the regular season at home with Senior Night on Friday, March 10 vs. San Jose State and Centenary. The theme for the night will be Hawaiian Luau Party. Hawaiian leis and grass hula skirts will be given away. Fans will also be encouraged to wear their favorite Hawaiian outfit.
Season ticket packages for all five regular-season home meets start at $25 for general admission. Fans can also purchase reserved season tickets for $40. Single-meet tickets are also now on sale.
