Hogs Back on Home Court to Face Drake on Friday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas Men’s Tennis returns to Fayetteville to play on its home court for the first time in over two weeks. The Hogs (6-2) will face off against the Drake Bulldogs (0-3) in the non-conference battle.

The last time the Hogs faced the Bulldogs, Arkansas took down Drake, 4-1, in the Razorbacks’ spring opener of the 2020 season. Current Hogs Alex Reco, Nico Rousset and Melvin Manuel all recorded singles wins in that matchup.

The Bulldogs from Des Moines, Iowa, have only played three matches to start the season after matches against Northern Illinois and Vanderbilt were postponed. Despite being winless on the season, Drake played tight matches on the road against Big Ten members Nebraska and Wisconsin, losing each by one point, 4-3.

Arkansas and Drake will face off in some primetime tennis, with the match starting at 6 p.m. CT in the Dills Indoor Tennis Center.
