No. 9 Arkansas Holds Steady in Round Two

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – No. 9 Arkansas Women’s Golf remained in eighth following day two at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. The Hogs shot a 294 (+11) as a team on the day, one better than their Monday round. No. 5 Wake Forest took the lead, going four-under on the day, while Calynne Rosholt moved up to first on the individual leaderboard, firing a 69 on day two to bring her to three-under for the event.

The junior duo of Kajal Mistry and Ela Anacona set the pace for the Hogs in round two, as they both fired 72s (+1) on the day. Both Mistry and Anacona birdied twice and bogeyed three times. Mistry is currently tied for 20th, while Anacona is tied for 24th.

Julia Gregg and Cory Lopez, meanwhile, are tied for 50th after 36 holes. Lopez led the Hogs on day one, firing a 72, but carded a 79 on day two, bringing her tournament score to 151 (+9). Gregg, meanwhile, shot a 75 (+4) on day two, a stroke better than her 76 on Monday.

Miriam Ayora fired a 75 on day two, and is currently tied for 67th place. (78-75—153).
