Razorbacks Claim Four Wins on Saturday at the PTT 25K Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Six members of the Arkansas women’s tennis team continued their fall season today at the PTT 25K Fayetteville as the Razorbacks claimed four wins, including Anet Koskel picking up a win to advance to the Finals in the 1st place playoffs.

After going undefeated in Group B, Koskel qualified for the 1st place playoffs and clinched her spot in the Finals tomorrow following a straight-set victory over Emily Gelber.

Two Hogs qualified for the 2nd place playoffs as Indianna Spink and Katie Ferguson finished second within their groups. Ferguson dropped her Semifinal match to Jennifer Jackson in straight sets, ending her run in the tournament. Spink dominated in her win over Adesuwa Osabuohien and will now face Jackson in the Finals.

In the 3rd place playoffs, Morgan Cross claimed her spot in the Finals after a commanding 6-3, 6-3 victory over Mansi Vadyala. Cross advances to play Mouna Bouzgarrou tomorrow.

Lenka Stara secured a victory in the 4th place playoffs while Grace O’Donnell retired from her match after winning the first set. Stara will match up against Natalie Oliver tomorrow.
