Razorbacks Conclude Second Day At Ralston/Neufeld Coaches Challenge

DALLAS – Four members of the Arkansas men’s tennis team completed the second day of the Ralston/Neufeld Coaches Challenge. The Hogs competed against Boise State in singles in addition to Harvard in singles and doubles play.

The Razorbacks started the day with a win in doubles play. Senior Jakob Mosvold and junior Jake Sweeney teamed up for a dominant 6-1 victory over Harvard’s Pape/Ktiri. Graduate Jared Horwood and freshman Connor Smillie fell 1-6 in their only match of the day to Perera/Delloye (Harvard).

In singles play, Mosvold came up just short in his match as Perera (Harvard) took the first set while Mosvold fought back to win the second. In the final set, Perera edged out Mosvold 10-7 to take the victory. Horwood picked up the lone win for Arkansas against Boise State, defeating Chin in straight sets.

The Hogs finish play at the Ralston/Neufeld Coaches Challenge tomorrow morning with one round of singles and one round of doubles against SMU.
