THE TURNING POINT

Arkansas came out strong against Ole Miss and took the first set from Ole Miss, 25-19 after the Razorback defense forced a .028 hitting percentage by the Rebels. It’s the lowest hitting percentage recorded by Ole Miss in a single set against SEC opponents this season.

After Ole Miss tied the match at one set apiece, the Razorbacks found themselves trailing 5-1 early in the third set but would rally back to take a 10-9 lead with a block by Maylin Garrett and Liz Pamphile. The two teams would battle back and forth but it was Ole Miss who came out on top again in the third, 25-22.

The Razorbacks couldn’t combat the Rebels’ momentum and Ole Miss secured the four-set victory by a score of 25-18 in the final set.
