Razorbacks Produce Strong NCAA Times

COLLEGE STATION/DALLAS, TEX. – The Razorback swimmers wrapped day three of the Art Adamson Invitationals with a final score of 432.5. Arkansas finished fifth in the invitational, while Alabama took home the win with a final score of 792. USC would finish in second place with a score of 752, Texas A&M would finish in third place and LSU would finish in fourth place.

“We finished strong on day three with more personal bests, A final success, and NCAA B cuts. We had great leadership from our seniors again today, and especially our new grad transfers Luciana Thomas with a 1:55 B cut in the 200 Fly and Alessia A final in 100 free and 200 Breast NCAA B cut,” said head coach Neil Harper. “I think the other big thing we gained is that our juniors, sophomores, and freshmen battled in pressure situations, which is a great experience for their future development and success, especially at the SEC and NCAA championships.”

“Another good day for the divers, Regan Caufield made finals and ended up 4th. I’m proud of how her and how consistent she dove,” stated diving coach Abel Sanchez. “Malea Martinez ended up 12th and Grace Walker was 13th.”

The Razorback diver, Regan Caufield would come in third in the 3-meter dive at SMU Invitational.
