Women’s Tennis Finish Day Two at Texas A&M Fall Invite

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The University of Arkansas women’s tennis team finished its second day of the Texas A&M Invitational with three wins. The invitational will conclude tomorrow with singles only competition against Texas A&M at 10 a.m. CT.

In doubles play, the Razorback pair of Lenka Stara and Grace O’Donnell grabbed the sole win in doubles with the 6-2 victory over SMU’s Nylander and Johnson. Stara continued with the wins in singles, defeating Utah’s Barksdale 6-1, 7-6 (3) with freshman Yuahn Liu rounding up singles play with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Lopez of Utah.

Doyle (SMU) defeats Spink (ARK), 6-2, 6-2

Stara (ARK) defeats Barksdale (UTAH), 6-1, 7-6(3)

Liu (ARK) defeats Lopez (UTAH), 7-5, 6-3

Tattini (UTAH) defeats O’Donnell (ARK), 6-3, 6-4

Goncharova (UTAH) defeats McCarthy (ARK), 6-2, 6-2

Hersh (UTAH) defeats Robbins (ARK), 6-0, 6-4
