Softball Inks Seven on National Signing Day

Head softball coach Courtney Deifel welcomed seven new Razorbacks on Wednesday for National Signing Day. The seven signees come in the form of four pitchers, a catcher, infielder and utility player.

Arkansas hosted Crowder College in its final week of fall play, the Razorbacks used 19 hits and four home runs to secure the win, 22-1 on Tuesday evening.

The Arkansas Razorback softball team hosted Northeastern State in a fall scrimmage on Thursday evening. The Hogs came out on top, 18-3 in the 10-inning contest.

Fall is a busy time on the University of Arkansas campus and there are several exciting events on the horizon for Razorback Athletics.

Arkansas softball was one of 140 division I programs recognized as a 2018-19 Easton/NFCA Academic Team.

The Razorbacks will be back on the diamond on Wednesday morning as the Razorbacks begin fall practices at Bogle Park.

The Razorbacks are gearing up for another fall season at Bogle Park. Fifth year head softball coach Courtney Deifel released the Razorback’s schedule on Thursday, which includes seven contests over three home matches and one road weekend.
