Razorbacks Hold Strong In The Top 10

NEW ORLEANS – With another postseason title in the hand, the Arkansas women’s cross country team will enter this weekend’s 2016 NCAA Cross Country Championship as the No. 9 program in the country, announced Monday afternoon by the USTFCCCA.

Opening the season at No. 11, the Razorbacks first made an appearance in the top 10 in week three following strong performances at the UC Riverside Invitational and Missouri Southern Stampede.

The highest nationally ranked Southeastern Conference program, the Razorbacks have become a mainstay in the top-10 standings checking in at No. 10 or higher for the last three weeks.

Arkansas looks to close the season with a solid team finish this weekend at the LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Razorbacks have five-consecutive top-20 national finishes including a pair of top-10 results in 2014 and 2015.
