Baseball to Play in 2016 Houston College Classic

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas baseball team will play in the 2016 Houston College Classic Feb. 26-28 at Minute Maid Park the Houston Astros announced Monday morning.

The 16th annual tournament will feature Arkansas, Texas Tech, Rice, Louisiana-LaFayette, Houston and TCU with nine games being played in three days at Minute Maid Park.

The Razorbacks played in the 2012 Houston College Classic and went 2-1, picking up wins against Texas Tech and the University of Texas and falling to Houston.

Arkansas is set to play five games this week, welcoming Gonzaga to town for a two-game mid-week series, before traveling to Vanderbilt this weekend to open SEC play against the defending national champions.
