Hosting Ninth-Ranked Florida on Senior Day

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas volleyball team will close out its 2016 campaign Saturday afternoon by hosting No. 9 Florida at Barnhill Arena. Prior to the match, the Razorbacks will recognize their senior class of Barbara Dapic, Danielle Harbin, Breana Jones, Ana Sofia Jusino, Savannah Voelzke and Adrien Wohlschlaeger. First serve of the season finale is scheduled for 1 p.m. (CT).

All-Time Series
The teams split two matches last season with each winning on its home floor, including Arkansas’ five-set victory over ninth-ranked Florida on Oct. 4, 2015, which snapped a 14-match skid against the Gators. The last six meetings at Barnhill Arena have gone at least four sets including three five setters. Overall, Florida owns a 38-3 advantage in the all-time series.

Last Time Out
In its final road match of the season, Arkansas topped South Carolina in four sets (Nov. 23). After splitting the first two sets, the Razorbacks carried a .365 hitting percentage over sets three and four in Columbia. Arkansas is in the midst of a four-match winning streak, and has won six of their last eight matches entering Saturday’s season finale.

1-2 Punch at South Carolina
Seniors Danielle Harbin and Barbara Dapic put down 21 and 15 kills, respectively, at South Carolina (Nov. 23). The match marked Harbin’s eighth outing with 20 or more kills while Dapic tallied a season high. Harbin hit .650 (14-1-20) over the final two sets in the match while Dapic posted a .538 hitting percentage in the match with just one error in 26 swings.
