The No. 9 Arkansas women’s golf team shot an 8-under 280 for the second straight round at the NCAA Las Vegas Regionals to hold onto a four-shot lead over Purdue going into the final round on Wednesday.

Maria José Marin has exploded onto the collegiate golf scene during her freshman season at Arkansas—from setting a 54-hole record during her debut outing, to being ranked the No. 1 women's college golfer in the country. The 17-year-old Columbia native is somewhat of a golf prodigy.
