Warren Named All-Freshman
ATLANTA – Arkansas wide receiver and return specialist De’Vion Warren was named to the Coaches’ SEC All-Freshman Team released Thursday.
Warren, from Monroe, Louisiana, finished this season with a 26.38 kickoff return average to rank second in the SEC. He returned 29 kicks for 765 yards, including one for a 100-yard touchdown against Auburn on Oct. 21. It was the longest kickoff return for a score since Felix Jones’ 100-yard kickoff return in 2006 against Ole Miss, it equaled the longest touchdown in Arkansas history, and it is tied for the longest scoring play in the FBS this season. His 765 kickoff return yards rank third in single-season school history.
Arkansas has had at least one player on the SEC All-Freshman team 14 straight years.
