Jumping for the first time since equaling the collegiate record to win the NCAA Indoor title, Razorback Rachel Glenn broke the Arkansas outdoor high jump record with a winning height of 6 feet, 2.75 inches (1.90) at the LSU Invitational on Saturday.

Arkansas alum Taliyah Brooks successfully defended her title in the Multistars heptathlon and equaled her career best of 6,330 points from her 2023 victory.

A 10-team field assembled for Saturday’s LSU Invitational at Bernie Moore Stadium will include the top two nationally ranked teams in the No. 1 host Tigers and No. 2 Arkansas.

Jamaican sprinter Kavia Francis has chosen Arkansas as her transfer destination from Baylor University and will join the Razorbacks for the 2024-25 season.

Arkansas has signed two additions to the women’s program with sprinter Isabella Whittaker, a transfer from Penn, and pole vaulter Addison Richey, a senior at Teurlings Catholic HS in Lafayette, Louisiana, joining the Razorbacks next fall.

Meet records were not safe during the John McDonnell Invitational as Rosey Effiong and Shafiqua Maloney bettered marks in the 200m and 400m, respectively, on Friday.

Final Results

No. 3 Arkansas will host its second outdoor meet of the season with the John McDonnell Invitational, which includes a field of 25 teams competing on Friday, April 19.

Arkansas will host the John McDonnell Invitational this Thursday and Friday at John McDonnell Field. A featured event on Friday is the Fastest Kid in Fayetteville over 100 meters, which will be held at 5:30 p.m.
