Adrien Mörk Named Razorback MGolf Associate Head Coach

FAYETTEVILLE – Adrien Mörk, who spent the past six years at TCU and a total of eight in collegiate golf, was named Arkansas men’s golf associate head coach, Razorback head coach Brad McMakin announced.

In addition to collegiate experience, Mörk, who recruited Razorback All-American Mateo Fernandez de Oliveira to TCU, is respected in the amateur golf community worldwide. He was an instructor for the French Golf Federation, serving as an advisor for the 2015 European Team Championship, and was an assistant coach for Team International at the 2018 Palmer Cup, which featured Razorbacks Alvaro Ortiz and Maria Fassi.

“I am excited to welcome Adrien to the Razorback golf family,” McMakin said. “He has built a reputation over the years for his recruiting acumen worldwide and his ability to develop players. He is very detail-oriented and is a great technician. Adrien is one of the best in the business and he will be a great addition to our program.”

Mörk was an assistant with the Horned Frogs for his first two years (2017-19) before being promoted to associate head coach for the last four seasons (2019-23).

This past year, Mörk helped the Horned Frogs place runner-up at the 2023 Big 12 Championship. With that, TCU reached an NCAA Regional in all five years the championship was held during Mörk’s six-year tenure with the Horned Frogs. In 2021, with Fernandez de Oliveira, TCU finished 16th at the NCAA Championships. In 2019, he assisted the team to a runner-up finish at the Big 12 Championship, the highest finish ever for TCU. Hayden Springer won the Big 12 Championship, one of four Frogs to win a tournament during the season. TCU finished 15th at the 2019 NCAA Championships (played at the Blessings Golf Club).

Individual honors during his time at TCU include Stefano Mazzoli earning a pair of All-American honors (2018 and 2019) while David Ravetto (2019), Hayden Springer (2019) and Jacob Skov Olesen (221) were tabbed All-Region.

Prior to TCU, Mörk was assistant coach at UCF for two seasons (2015-17). The Knights made the NCAA Regional both years and advanced to the NCAA Championship in 2017 where they finished tied for 14th.

In 2016-17, the Knights grabbed three team victories, highlighted by winning the NCAA College Grove Regional in Tennessee. Bobby Bai was named the American Athletic Conference’s Freshman of the Year. Donnie Trosper, Manuel Elvira and Bobby Bai were each named to The American’s all-conference team. Kyler Tate earned Honorable Mention All-America honors.

In addition to working for the French Golf Federation, he coached for France at the 2015 British Amateur, where a record four French players played in the quarterfinals, with Romain Langasque winning the event. Langasque went on to make the cut at both the British Open and The Masters.

Mörk also coaches LPGA Tour professional Perrine Delacour. He began working with Delacour in preparation for LPGA Tour Q School in 2014, where she earned her card with an 11th-place finish.

As a professional, Mörk was the first player ever to shoot a 59 in any European Tour event, accomplishing that feat in the second round of the 2006 Morocco Classic on the Challenge Tour. With a first round 63, and then 59 for a 122 total, he has the lowest 36-hole score of any PGA Tour event. In 2006, he won another Challenge Tour event in Madrid at the Challenge de Espana. He went on to graduate from the Challenge Tour to the European Tour, with Martin Kaymer, Alex Noren, Rafa Cabrera Bello, Alvaro Quiros to name a few.

Mörk has also won four times on the Alps Tour in Europe. He played on the PGA European Tour, turning in a Top 10 finish at the Russian Open and Top 20 at the Open de France in 2006.

In the amateur ranks, Mörk represented France in the World and European Team Championships. He was ranked as high as No. 2 on the French ranking.

After being the French High School champion, Mörk played collegiately at McNeese State University from 2001-2004. He was a four-year team MVP and a member of the All-Southland Conference team. He was the Louisiana Freshman of the Year in 2001 and advanced to the NCAA Regionals as an individual twice. He graduated from McNeese State in 2004 with B.S. in marketing.

Mörk and his wife Sandrine have a daughter, Elin.
