The Arkansas men’s golf program will once again face some of the nation’s top teams when the Razorbacks travel to Palm City, Fla., for the 2019 Valspar Collegiate Invitational, which will be played Mar. 17-19 at The Floridian National Golf Club (par 71 – 7,114 yards).

The Arkansas men’s golf team, ranked 32nd nationally, had one of the best rounds of the day and moved up one more spot to finish 10th with a 54-hole total of 885 (305-290-290) the Querencia Cabo Collegiate.

Arkansas freshman Julian Perico had two eagles and a birdie Monday and climbed 18 spots into a tie for ninth at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate. The 32nd-ranked Razorbacks improved two spots to 11th.

Arkansas freshman Wil Gibson shot a career-low, 2-under-par 69 and is tie for eighth after the opening round of the Querencia Cabo Collegiate. Arkansas is 13th after day one of three at the Querencia Golf Club (par 71/6,928 yards).

Arkansas will travel south of the border but be on familiar ground as the Razorbacks play in the ninth annual Querencia Cabo Collegiate, March 3-5.

University of Arkansas freshman Julian Perico fired a final-round 68 and finished with a three-round total of 197, breaking the school’s 54-hole scoring record and wining by four strokes, at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate.

Arkansas once again showed improvement, shooting a final-round 288 which was the fifth-best round of the day, and the 25th-ranked Razorbacks climbed three spots to finish eighth with a 54-hole score of 883 at The Prestige
