Sixty-two Razorbacks were named to the 2018-19 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll, announced Tuesday by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey.

SEC Release

Although he lost in a playoff at this past weekend’s Wichita Open, former Razorback Sebastian Cappelen will graduate to the PGA TOUR next season.

Jeremy Sisson, who reached match play at last year’s U.S. Junior Amateur, has signed a National Letter of Intent with the Arkansas men’s golf program, Razorback head coach Brad McMakin announced.

Beginning the final round of the REX Hospital Open four strokes off the lead at 14-under 199, Denmark’s Sebastian Cappelen knew the importance of getting off to a strong start. Back-to-back bogeys at Nos. 1 and 2 wasn’t exactly the start he intended.

Julian Perico carded a 76 in the third round and posted a 6-over-par score of 222 after 54 holes to finish in a tie for 34th at the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship, played at Blessings Golf Club (par 72, 7,550 yards).
