Three Razorbacks Gain Exemption to 2020 US Amateur

Three members of the Arkansas men’s golf team – William Buhl, Julian Perico and Segundo Oliva Pinto – have gained an exemption to play in the 2020 United States Amateur Championship, set for August 10-16 at Bandon Dunes (Ore.) Golf Resort.

Razorback senior golfer Mason Overstreet was voted 2020 Academic All-America® Division I Men’s At-Large third team, as selected by CoSIDA.

Seniors Luis Garza and Mason Overstreet were named to the Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced.

Arkansas finished as the 2009 NCAA Men’s Golf Championship runner-up as the Razorbacks and Texas A&M Aggies battled to the final putt on the 18th green to decide the winner.

Then Razorback freshman Mason Overstreet shot a final round 71 to finish runner-up at the 2017 NCAA Men’s Golf Championship, held at Rich Harvest Farms.
