Arkansas Releases Men’s Basketball Schedule

The University of Arkansas released its 2019-20 men’s basketball schedule. The slate features 18 home games including nine SEC contests and three versus the Razorbacks’ oldest rivals – Rice, TCU and Texas A&M – in Bud Walton Arena.

Adrio Bailey, a senior for the Arkansas men’s basketball team, and Jailyn Mason, a senior for the Razorback women’s program, are attending the annual Southeastern Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Leadership Council at SEC headquarters this weekend.

The Arkansas men’s basketball team will hold its annual Red-White Game on Oct. 5 (Saturday) at 3 pm in Barnhill Arena.

Razorback great Sidney Moncrief will officially be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame tonight (Nov. 6). The ceremony starts at 6:30 pm (CT) and will be telecast on NBATV.

The University of Arkansas men’s basketball team will hold an informational meeting regarding walk-on tryouts on Aug. 27 (Tuesday) at 7 pm at the Basketball Performance Center. Tryouts will be Sept 3-4 at 7 pm.


Patrick Ackerman, who worked two seasons at Nevada, has been named Arkansas men’s basketball recruiting coordinator, Razorback head coach Eric Musselman announced.

A total of 15 former University of Arkansas student-athletes will be inducted as members of the 2019 class of the University of Arkansas Sports Hall of Honor this September.

Abayomi Iyiola, a 6-9 forward who spent the past two seasons at Stetson University, is transferring to Arkansas for the 2019-20 season, Razorback head men’s basketball coach Eric Musselman announced. He will sit out the 2019-20 season per NCAA transfer regulations and have two years of eligibility remaining.

Arkansas will renew a rivalry with one of its oldest opponents when TCU comes to Bud Walton Arena on Jan. 25, 2020, as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
