Arkansas will play at Providence College in the opening round of the 2019 National Invitation Tournament on Tuesday (Mar. 19). Tip-off in Providence, R.I., at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center is set for 9 pm (ET)/8 pm (CT) and the game will be telecast on ESPN2.

Arkansas head men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson announced Monday that sophomore Daniel Gafford will forego his remaining eligibility and declare for the 2019 NBA Draft. Gafford will not participate with the Razorbacks in the upcoming National Invitation Tournament.

The Arkansas men’s basketball program will be playing in the postseason for the third consecutive year – and fifth time in the last six seasons – as the Razorbacks, seeded fifth, will play at fourth-seed Providence College in the opening round of the 2019 National Invitation Tournament on Tuesday (Mar. 19).

NIT Bracket

Arkansas was knocked out of the SEC Tournament by Florida 66-50 on Thursday afternoon at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Daniel Gafford led the Razorbacks with 15 points and freshman Isaiah Joe chipped in 12.

Final Stats

Arkansas, winners of three straight and seeded ninth, will face eighth-seed Florida in the teams’ opening game of the 2019 SEC Tournament on Thursday (Mar. 14) at Noon. Tip-off at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena is set for Noon and the game will be telecast on the SEC Network.
