All Nine Razorback MGolf Tourneys Among Golf Channel’s Best

FAYETTEVILLE – Once again, the Arkansas men’s golf team will play an elite schedule as all nine regular-season events, including the Razorbacks’ own Blessings Collegiate Invitational and CABO Collegiate, were featured by Golf Channel’s Brentley Romine.

Each month, 6-to-10 events – a total of 43 regular-season events – were “circled on the calendar” as the best tournaments.

The slate features the two tournaments Arkansas hosts, three events the Razorbacks have played in the past (Fallen Oak, Watersound and Valspar) and four new events (Vuori, Bryan Bros, Desimone and Calusa).

The season opens Sept. 14-15 at the Vuori Invitational, played at Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.). San Diego serves as host for the inaugural event. Two weeks later, Arkansas heads to Columbia, S.C., to play in the second annual Bryan Bros Collegiate.

The seventh annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational, presented by Tyson Foods, is set for Oct. 3-5 (Sat-Mon.). Both the Razorback men’s and women’s programs will be defending their team titles. The men have won three of the first six team titles and three individual titles (Luke Long, John Driscoll III and John Day II), while the women have won five of the previous six team titles, with Brooke Matthews (twice) and Maria Jose Marin (twice) accounting for four of the six individual titles.

Arkansas will close the fall portion of the 2026-27 schedule at the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 17-19). This will be the second time playing in the event. Last season, the Hogs placed fourth in the 14-team field that featured eight of the nation’s top 10. This year’s event will be just as challenging as 9 of the 14 teams are in the Golf Channel preseason top 30 (#8 Arkansas, #10 LSU, #11 Illinois, #13 Georgia, #18 Tennessee, #19 Ole Miss, #27 Alabama, #25 Florida State and #29 Wake Forest).

The spring season opens (Feb. 14-17) with Arkansas defending its title at the Watersound Invitational. Last season, then #8 Arkansas held off then #3 Vanderbilt to win. The Razorbacks posted an opening-round 269 – which tied for the sixth-lowest score in Razorback history – and finished with a 19-under 821 – the third-lowest 54-hole score in program history.

Next up is what many players and coaches call “the favorite collegiate tournament of the year” – the CABO Collegiate. The 17th annual edition will be played Feb. 28-Mar. 2 in Los Cabos, Mexico, and returns to the Twin Dolphin Club for the fourth consecutive year. Annually featuring one of the best fields in college golf, Arkansas was runner-up last season at -21, one stroke off the lead and 11 strokes ahead of third place. This year’s 15-team field includes 11 teams in the Golf Channel preseason top 30.

Six days later, Arkansas heads to the San Francisco Bay to play in another loaded field for the Desimone Invitational (Mar. 8-9).

The regular season concludes with a pair of tournaments in Florida. First, the always tough Valspar Collegiate (Mar. 22-23) at the Floridian National, followed by the program’s first trip to the Calusa Cup at Naples’ Calusa Pines Golf Club (Apr. 4-6).

The postseason begins at the SEC Championship (Apri. 21-25), which once again will be played in St. Simons Island, Ga., at the Sea Side Golf Club. The NCAA Regionals are set for May 17-19, and the NCAA Championships are set for May 28-June 2.
